Built by one person, for people who are their own brand.
I am Brett Wharton, Founder of NexusMKTG in Boston. I have built 200+ websites and apps, and Saidbrief is for people whose name is the business.
Why I built it.
The people I build for are looked up before a first call, and the place they are looked up has changed. It used to be a search results page you could see. Now it is an answer from an assistant that nobody sees except the person asking. I wanted a way to see those answers from the other side, with the words shown and the date on them. And a list of what to do about them.
The tools that existed were built for marketing teams tracking brands. They cost a monthly fee and open to a dashboard. A person with one name needs one reading and a plan.
How it is made.
Saidbrief asks each assistant through its developer interface with web search on, the mode closest to the app. It quotes every answer and names the model and the date. A small model reads each answer against your profile and records what matched and what did not. The scores and the plan come from rules you can read on the How It Works page. I built it to answer a question about my own name.
What I promise, and what I do not.
I promise a dated record of what each assistant said, shown as it was, and a plan written for you. I do not promise what an assistant will say next month. No one controls that. The plan improves the odds by fixing the pages the assistants read.
Saidbrief is independent. It is not affiliated with OpenAI, Google, Perplexity, or Anthropic, and their names appear here only to say which assistant answered.
